Java 7.51 cache blocking Photo Upload

23 Jan
The newest version of Java (7.51) is causing a conflict with Linxworks Manager’s Photo Upload Facility (PUF).  Clearing the Java Plug-in cache forces the browser to load the latest versions of web pages and programs.  Two steps are required:
1.       Clear Java Cache by deleting Temporary Files through the Java Control Panel; and
2.       Clear the browser’s Temporary Cached Files and Cookies.
Once complete, open a new browser and photos will upload as expected.

If  you would like a copy of step-by-step guidelines to clear your browser’s Java Cache; or have Support walk you through this process, Contact Us at Linxworks’ Support.
